To celebrate our 9th Walking Challenge we are taking on the Nine Edges Challenge in the Peak District on 3rd May 2026.
We would love you to join us walking to raise money for children with brain tumours and their families.
Will you walk the full Nine Edges23 mile distance with 970 m of ascent (for 11-year-olds and over) or the Nearly Nine Edges 13 mile route (for 5-year-olds and over)? We will meet in Baslow, where we will shuttle everyone to their start points, with the full challenge beginning at Fairholmes on Ladybower Reservoir.

The ‘Nearly Nine Edges’ shorter route will see people walking 8 of the 9 edges and joining the main group for the last half of their walk.
Our fantastic mountain guide partners, RAW Adventures, who run our events every year are back once again. Costs are £40pp for the full challenge and £25pp for the half-challenge.

All we ask is that you try to raise £200pp towards our target of £20,000 for the event. The money will be used to continue our support and care for children with brain tumours and their families, will go towards raising awareness of the signs and symptoms of this dreadful disease, and fund new and vital research.
